Janet started her career when she joined an IBM product marketing department just after college in the early 1990s. After IBM, she worked for other high-tech companies in Research Triangle Park, including the Semiconductor Research Corporation.

In addition to her experience in the high-tech world, she also worked as a newspaper editor for two North Carolina papers.

She started FatCat Strategies in 2002 so she could work more closely with smaller, locally-owned businesses.

When she's not working, Janet likes to spend time outside... on a bike, at the lake, in a canoe, in the garden...

Jessica began as an intern at FatCat Strategies, and was invited to stay on after graduating from NC State University. She does a little bit of everything, from writing and editing content, to planning email and direct mail campaigns, and managing web sites and SEO efforts.

She enjoys working closely with clients to help keep messages and goals focused, and ensure overall satisfaction with a project.

She is a native of Raleigh, who looks forward to beach trips in the summer and football games in the fall. When she's not taking care of her cat, Roxie, or her dog, Bagel, she likes to cook with her family and spend time with her friends.
